Dominique Fisher - CEO and Managing Director and Executive Director. BA (Hons.), MAICD

For more than 25 years Dominique has worked in communications, telecommunications and information technology; application of technology in business and electronic commerce and commercialisation of new technologies.

Her experience spans from policy development and analysis through to extensive general management experience. Dominique began her career as a Principal Analyst for AUSSAT (Australia’s satellite system) and was involved in numerous landmark inquiries into commercial television, remote commercial television, satellite program services and the media.

After the birth of her first child she established a consulting business advising companies on telecommunications and satellite communications. Clients included Bond Communications (a Channel 9 spin off) and an international consortium lead by Bell Atlantic and Hutchinson Telecommunications to bid for the second telecommunications licence in Australia. Dominique wrote the satellite and pay tv business cases.

She has run a media training business with clients such as Mobile Oil, Bane and Co and Unilever and has been CEO and MD of a directory publishing business (which catalogued the Australian food service industry and sold in 53 countries) which she ultimately transitioned into an online publishing business. www.foodtrack.com.au was one of the first major online trading communities in Australia. As Vice President of Ozecom, Ozemail (then Australia’s largest ISP) she established and managed the e-commerce division securing major deals in b2b commerce.

For the last 8 years she has run her own business (EC Strategies) working with clients to commercialise technology ranging from Australian and international start-up technology companies through to major Australian telecommunications companies and other Australian and international businesses. In addition, Dominique has had an extensive career as a non-executive director on boards in technology, property development, health, the arts and the financial services sector for over 20 years. She is a non executive director of Pacific Brands Ltd, Councillor of the Australia Council of the Arts and Chairman of its Dance Board, Chairman of Circadian Ltd and Chairman of Sky Technologies Pty Ltd.

Alex Chen - General Manager - Finance & Admin. BBus (Accounting & Commercial Law)

Alex joined WebAlive in September 2007 as a full time in house Company Accountant. Alex has gained experience over the last 7 years as CFO for a number of high profile companies including Service Central Pty Ltd, REA Ltd (realestate.com.au) and TMS Global. Through these appointments Alex has gained extensive experience in capital raising, turning around non-performing business units, acquisitions, due diligence, debt reduction and day to day financial management.

Luke Richards - General Manager - Product & Marketing. MBA 2006 – present

Luke brings almost 10 years experience in brand and product management to WebAlive. Most recently, Luke was Product Manager for domains and web site design for Melbourne IT, and has thorough product knowledge of this highly competitive market. Luke’s experience in driving product strategy and vision to meet commercial objectives will make a significant contribution to the senior management team.

Tyron Ball - General Manager Sales & Business Development. Bachelor of Computer and Information Science

Tyron joined WebAlive at the end of October 2007 and is heading up our Sales, Support and Services divisions. Tyron comes to us from Melbourne IT as Business Development Manager, where he experienced great success in achieving sales targets, reducing the sales cycle time and creating successful referral programs. Tyron has experience in Account Management and solutions selling in the online and web market, and has a consistent record of breaking sales targets throughout his career.

Steffan Karagianis - General Manager - Product Development. Master of IT and Bachelor of Applied Science (Computer Science)

David Collins - Sales Manager China. BBus, BA (Chinese Language & Culture) 2002 – present

After starting in international logistics David gained extensive experience (6 ½ years) working for small boutique firms as a Sales Representative and Sales Manager before returning to university to undertake a 5 year full-time degree including studies within China. David has also been part of a Chinese cultural organization for 10 years which he managed for one year before commencing his role in the China business in May 2007.

Callum Brown - Professional Services Manager. BA Social Sciences and Multimedia

Callum has over 10 years experience in the multimedia and on-line sectors. Prior to joining WebAlive in early 2005, he worked as a freelance web/multimedia designer and for a number of boutique design studios. He leads a small team with a heavy focus on creative web site design and other services including logo design and flash development.
